Center's A.I.D. Mental Health Awareness Training featured in 黑料社 Today

黑料社鈥檚 Center for Public Policy and Health has developed a nationally expanding mental health awareness program known as A.I.D. (Awareness, Interaction and Direction) that trains individuals to recognize signs of mental distress, engage in supportive conversations and connect people to appropriate resources. Created in 2019, the evidence-based training is designed to be accessible and adaptable, offering a core session that can be completed in as little as 60 minutes at no cost to communities. Since introducing a train-the-trainer model in fall 2024, the program has reached communities in 26 states, partnering with more than 80 organizations and preparing over 200 instructors to deliver the training locally. Its flexible design allows it to be tailored for a wide range of audiences, including educators, law enforcement, rural and tribal communities, helping expand a nationwide network of mental health advocates
