Here is Rydell High鈥檚 senior class of 1959: duck-tailed, hot-rodding 鈥淏urger Palace Boys鈥 and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking 鈥淧ink Ladies鈥 in bobby sox and pedal pushers, evoking the look and sound of the 1950s in this rollicking musical. Head 鈥済reaser鈥 Danny Zuko and new (good) girl Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the romance of their 鈥淪ummer Nights鈥 as the rest of the gang sings and dances its way through such songs as 鈥淕reased Lightnin鈥,鈥 鈥淚t鈥檚 Raining on Prom Night鈥 and 鈥淎lone at the Drive-In Movie,鈥 recalling the music of Buddy Holly, Little Richard and Elvis Presley that became the soundtrack of a generation
鈥淕rease鈥 is presented by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc., a Concord Theatricals Company.
