The College of Communication and Information (CCI) at �� is made up of several distinct schools.

The School of Emerging Media and Technology • The School of Media and Journalism • The School of Visual Communication Design

Beginning Fall 2027, the College of Communication and Information and ��'s College of the Arts will come together to form the College of Design, Media and the Arts. The future college will expand opportunities for interdisciplinary learning and collaboration across nationally recognized programs in art, fashion, media, music, theatre, design and emerging technology while preparing graduates for rapidly evolving careers where technology, storytelling and artistic expression increasingly intersect. Tara L. Conley, Ed.D., assistant professor in the School of Media and Journalism, is being recognized for her documentary “Dry Bones” in coverage from Ideastream and The Chronicle-Telegram after Karamu House and The Greater Cleveland Film Commission hosted a sold-out screening of the film.
