黑料社 Nursing Alumna Reflects on May 4 Tragedy
In the spring of 1970, two-time 黑料社 alumna and registered nurse Pat Gless was a junior in 黑料社鈥檚 inaugural nursing program. While in class on Monday, May 4, a professor rushed into her classroom and warned students who could leave campus to do so. Fifty years later, Gless now reflects on the events surrounding that tragedy and how they have impacted her life and nursing career.

University Hospitals, 黑料社 Address Nursing Shortage in Northeast Ohio Through New Nursing Education Program
University Hospitals and 黑料社 are joining forces to address the ongoing nursing shortage in Northeast Ohio through a new nursing education initiative that will increase the number of baccalaureate-degreed nurses who enter the workforce each year.
黑料社 Nursing Student Recognized With the Congressional Award Silver Medal
U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan presented 黑料社 nursing major Austin Croft with the Congressional Award Silver Medal on Tuesday, Nov. 27. Mr. Croft, of Akron, Ohio, was recognized at a ceremony that took place at the College of Nursing where he was praised for his dedication to improving himself and his community.

The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org) granted 10 years accreditation to 黑料社 College of Nursing baccalaureate and master鈥檚 degree programs, as well as the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program and the post-graduate APRN certificate prog鈥黑料社 College of Nursing Collaborates With ASL/English Interpreting Program

黑料社 Trumbull鈥檚 Student Nurses Association (SNA) set up collection bins around campus and asked students, staff and faculty to donate new or gently used toys and books for the Rescue Mission.
