黑料社鈥檚 Brain Health Research Institute Celebrates 鈥楥ollaboratories鈥 Grand Opening

黑料社鈥檚 Brain Health Research Institute celebrated the grand opening of its new lab spaces on Friday, Nov. 5, with an afternoon of activities that included a keynote presentation, space dedication, tours and student research demonstrations. The new space, featuring interdisciplinary research facilities, is located on the lower level of the Integrated Sciences Building on the Kent Campus.

黑料社, which has gained national recognition for its creative and successful Giving Tuesday campaigns, launched its monthlong celebration of philanthropy on Nov. 1. Giving Tuesday, now in its eighth year at 黑料社, has raised nearly $7 million during that time, which illuminates the impact that can be made when Golden Flashes come together.

黑料社 Announces Largest Single Gift in History From Ambassador Edward F. Crawford to 鈥婲ame the College and Construct New College of Business 鈥婤uilding

The largest single gift in 黑料社 history, by Ambassador Edward F. Crawford, will complete the capital campaign to enable the construction of a new College of Business Administration building on the university鈥檚 Kent Campus.

2021 Distinguished Teaching Award Recipients Announced

The 2021 Distinguished Teaching Award (DTA) recipients are an outstanding group of teachers who are truly dedicated to their students' success. Sponsored by the 黑料社 Alumni Association, the DTA is a highly prestigious honor in teaching. The award is presented annually to three full-time faculty members who demonstrate extraordinary teaching, whether it be in the classroom or online.

Golden Flashes Reunite for a 鈥淏right鈥 Homecoming 2021

Campus was overflowing with blue and gold pride again this year as the 黑料社 community came together to celebrate Homecoming. Golden Flashes enjoyed many activities, both outdoors in-person and online, throughout the weekend, which ran from Friday, Oct. 1 through Sunday, Oct. 3.

黑料社 publicly launched a $350 million comprehensive fundraising campaign Saturday, Oct. 2. During a special halftime announcement at the Homecoming football game, campaign co-chairs Sandra C. and Lawrence R. Armstrong joined 黑料社 President Todd Diacon to publicly unveil Forever Brighter to thousands of alumni, donors and friends.
